Looks like partially repowering wind gen sites became a bit of a hit in the USA thanks to some clever definitions in the renewable energy production tax credit scheme.

It also reads like these US wind gen farms went through what are essentially upgrades before their normal expected life cycle ended. (Less than 20 years old)

So re-using foundations for 50-100years is still yet to be evidenced here.

It appears a full repowering of a wind site does not reuse the foundations.
