Will the foundations outlast the turbines?? Will the larger turbines provide more power or will they create more air turbulance/vibration/mechanical stresses and/or failures due to various issues - guess on average less likely since there are less of them?? What happens to the old turbines and the old foundations - buried in landfill thus out of sight out of mind??
Meanwhile the reliable coal fired generation powers on - at least those that aren't demolished or mothballed. Winds of change.
