Hi Guts, Be grateful that when Mangrove negotiated the new deal (ie mangement sell-out)with Biota they reduced the $ from US$54m to US$27m but also effectively reduced their share of the new entity by about half (ie the dilution of Biots shares was markedly reduced).
However, this advantage only applies if you continued to hold your Biota shares (or bought more) rather than selling out at rock bottom prices (57c-69c)in the last week or so before delisting.
Hence, while Mangrove & co may feel they have done okay in the short term, in the longer term those Biota shareholders who hang in there will retain more equity and in due course reap the benefits.
In my view, it doesnt matter much what we list at - "que sera sera" -
www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZbKHDPPrrc - Doris Day or www.youtube.com/watch?v=hg4yl4Qwy-o - Normie Rowe
Take your pick but I tink Normie wins out in the end!
