Passing the TSCA will no doubt add momentum to the uptake of AJX's products, the driving factor will continue to be manufacturers who need to meet ISO and National Standards dictating fire safety. I don't think there will be sweeping winds of public enthusiasm that lift AJX on their sholders and parade us down the street.

If you look at Asbestos as a case study; there are only 2 really dangerous forms of asbestos Crocidolite and Amosite. However when the $#!% hit the fan the reaction was knee jerk and the whole industry basically shut down, no measured debate about what's safe and what's not.

Reality is 99% of the population have never given a moments thought to FR treatment. Infact the very few people I have met who react to the words Flame Retardant inevitably say "that's the stuff in fire fighting foam that causes cancer".

As awareness builds of hazardous FR's, it is likely the publics reaction will be to avoid FR treated products rather than seek out safely treated products. No doubt the media will miss the opportunity to educate the public and rather pump up the fear.

Not trying to down ramp, but don't think AJX will be a household name, rather a back ground hero of necessity
