Column 1 0 Finalists for Tshipi chosen

The five finalists for Tshipi have submitted their bids and are now waiting the company’s banks and financial advisors on the next step. The finalists, according to insiders are: Renova, Glencore, World Metals, Citic Demang and Itochu. TMI apparently either didn’t submit a bid or was out of the money. Each of the finalists brings something to the table, so it’s now just a matter of money.
A decision is expected by the fourth quarter, if not sooner.
