    this still sounds way off

    $400m for a 50% share in a 60 year mine life project already throwing off c.$100-200m a year still implies a P/CF (Price/Cashflow) ratio of 4-8x (in an era when US 30yr is offering just 3% nominal yield)

    even $800m only implies 8-16x !

    i'd much rather JMS keep hold of Tshipi if the valuation is less than $1bn for their share and just pass dividends straight through to shareholders
