    "Make batteries in Australia?"

    Two battery plants are in early stages of development. The one in Townesville is by Boston Energy - no small player. The one in Darwin is more doubtful but they are targeting a niche sector so it might have legs. Both will have to import lithium chemical until we get some refineries operating though.
