SS is a hard ask at current prices...even double current prices. Not enough Ni tonnes per vertical metre to carry stable capital access with the associated geotech issues. Ask anyone who worked at the bottom of that show & you'll get the same answer... hot & noisy..& a bit scary. Very close to the viable limit of technology & method. Don't know why their paying the C&M bill frankly unless they are seeking to deal it.
What they need to be doing is drilling some holes at all their mines. They'll find some metal no doubt with a considered approach. More Ni (in the absence of a higher Ni price) is the only thing that will get them closer to a profitable production scenario.
Do it while the window is still open.
