I spent much of ( not all ) my investing life on the ASX losing...

I spent much of ( not all ) my investing life on the ASX losing money because I am a lousy trader with lack of patience and poor skills, improving now after about 20 years of practice of losing money :-(

Last December 2022 I decided to buy a large number of TSLA shares as an investment not to trade. Never looked back and bought more on the way up.

If todays earnings are great I guess it will shoot over $300 IMO, I will still hold and if they drop back to 200 or more I will simply buy more.

I have test driven Tesla cars twice and after doing so I know why they are selling lots of cars. I became excited about owning a cybertruck and now not being exported to Australia...Yet.
