• There is a difference between a global mineral resource and what is constrained within an Pit Shell.
• Resource within the pit shell is deemed Economically Mineable by the company. Resource that is outside cannot be economically mined.
• What they are talking about is the Resource within an Optimized Pit Shell based on a conservative base case gold price (which is yet to be determined)
• Resource within Pit Shell is also known as Ore Reserves
• What Zeff says in the interview is consistent with what he has always been saying, in that he targeting an an optimised resource at the MRE stage that can support a scoping studying that produces 100Koz p.a x 10 yrs. As of the start May we were not there yet,but was hoping to get close by the MRE.
• In this interview he gives nothing away. But my gut feel is that is around the 850Moz-1Moz Mark. But he did say in the interview things are not confirmed yet and we may be suprised.
• To clarify what he means by saying the deposit is continuing to grow and that there is alot of work to step it up into the next scale level of production is that geometrically the Deposit needs to extends much further to the east to enable to the Final Pit Shell to be uplifted 4x-5x.
• A starting point of 850Moz-1Moz of resource within a Optimized Pit Shell based on a conservative base case gold price is bloody phenomenal and at grades between 1g-1.5g/t.
• We have not seen any results yet towards the far east. Holes 149 & 166 will be the first so hopefully there is a significant intercept there.
