I saw an interesting movement on GDN last week, a few rampers talking up the stock on the basis of it crossing the 20day MA. no fundamental reason for SP recovery, needless to say the SP went up on light vol from 4.3 to 4.7 & some dummies got suckered into holding the baby & down she slid again. Perhaps this was the price action Plantic was expecting to see. What I saw on GDN; I wouldn't call it a rally, I'd barely call it a rebound, more a P&D.
It just goes to show the power of psychology in the market. People buying because they think it is technically ready to move even though there has been no change to F/A.
