Upon asking the Canadian headquarters about the delisting of EDR on the ASX, I received the following e-mail response today:
"The company will provide ample notification to shareholders prior to commencing with delisting. Your shares can also be transferred to EDV shares on the TSX at any time."
I understand this to mean that there is no need to sell my EDR right now. And I do think (a) the US gold price is on strong support levels, and (b) US+Canadian selling for end-of-year tax-loss pruposes may run another 2 or 3 weeks, and (c) EDR will be just fine before the year has rolled over.
