That other wonder stock MML delisted from the TSX due to lack of interest there. The TSX listed goldies have done squat for a long time. Even TSX listed PMI Gold decided to list on the ASX to raise funds in Australia, and only since then has it moved ahead.
However if the north Americans ever decide to buy goldies in quantity again then a TSX listing for SLR could prove useful, and it would be suject to higher PE ratio.
Bottomline - the conditions in the goldie market keep changing, and at the moment goldies are not in favour in north America. Things could be different once they deliver significant dividends or gold goes to $5-10k/ounce!
