Well the reaction on he TSX appears to be less severe on release of the Quarterly. A few hours into the day and BMN holding up at 82c just under the day high on moderate volume of 600k odd. We wait and see what the rest of the day holds.

I have to say though the silence is a little deafening at this stage - I might not be quite as harsh in my assessment as yourself there Smity but I have to say it does frustrate the s~@t out of me and raise some questions.

More regular and meaningful communications is all we are asking for. I've said it before and I'll say it again - they didn't even announce getting the environmental clearance. I mean seriously - wake up and raise your game. Promoting a company is part of the role of the board of a listed outfit in their quest to create / maximise shareholder value. They should be looking to take every opportunity presented to promote the company.

I agree facts, genuine substance and reality are key ingredients to any announcement but no harm in a little horn blowing and chest beating now and again as it helps to generate interest, breed a little investor confidence into the stock and the Board itself. It might even help get a better strategic partner deal or off take.

Being all self deprecating, under stated, bland and modest all the time (common traits in my view of Geo's and engineers) achieves fanny adams and is a step backward in my view. For a company at this stage of its life and in the scenario that we currently face with BMN absolutely necessitates some element of marketing what the company has and maximising noise in the right way.

BMN's investor relations need an over haul. There has to be a motive behind the approach taken - we can only hope it is one that will ultimately yield positive results for us. If there isn't our investor relations crew might want to think of another vocation.
