Unfortunately all shareholders will have to wait for the U spot to go up in a big way for the project economics to be attractive. No board or contacts in the world will be able to snare a cornerstone investor when the project is marginal. I would not be surprised that at the height of the share price rally not so long ago, there were deals that were knocked back simply because of blind optimism to the rally in the U spot. This is a boom and bust sector like all the other base metal sector. Eventually when the US stops printing money and gets its economy in growth mode you will also see gold explorers/producers facing a hard time like the U sector has done. I will come only a matter of time.
