I suppose if you live in Canada you wan to be able to hold them in your own country. Also there are only around 8 million shares held & traded in Canada. So each night there are not a lot on offer to sell. If you wanted to pick up a 200k parcel it is fairly hard going. But they can do it here fairly easily.

This is going to help the SP down here, because that means we will regularly see Canadian buyers coming in and buying on the ASX. You can thank Len Jubber for this ... another TICK!

CHANGE IN SHARE REGISTRAR

Perth, Australia – 2 April 2009 – Bannerman Resources Limited (ASX:BMN) advises that effective 5.00pm (Perth time) on 30 April 2009, Bannerman will be utilising the share registry services of Computershare Investor Services Pty Limited (“Computershare”), Level 2, 45 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000 for the maintenance of share registers for its Australian security holders.

Bannerman already utilises Computershare to maintain its Canadian share register. The change in Australia is expected to make it more efficient for North American investors to acquire Bannerman shares on the ASX.
