I ended up lodging a formal complaint with ASX about the close yesterday....deliberate attempt to mark the close, whatever the motive you be the judge. I suspect trying to force the hand of others to sell (or to be sold down). At the very least it's reckless trading and poor risk controls in place by the participant broker.
@malkay if you are able to pull the broker data in the coming days for 20/04 that'd be handy.
