To lead on from the above, a breakdown of some of the dumps under .300 that we've seen since 20/6/21 (times accurate within 5mins):
21/6/21 10:22:07 - 23,468 IBA (Retail)
21/6/21 10:22:07 - 11,793 Citigroup (Insto)
25/6/21 11:53:48 - 28,000 Morrison (Insto)
25/6/21 11:59:03 - 10,000 IBA (Retail)
25/6/21 11:59:27 - 9,635 Citigroup (Insto)
6/7/21 12:30 - 24,500 AIEX (Retail), 801 JP Morgan (Insto), 477 Commonwealth (Retail)
7/7/21 10:10 - 100,000 CMC Markets (Retail)
12/7/21 16:00 - 2,175 Bell Potter (Insto)
13/7/21 12:35 - 1,754 Third Party (Retail)
13/7/21 15:30 - 20,000 Citigroup (Insto)
13/7/21 14:00 - 3,000 Commonwealth (Retail)
The sell of most concern to me when it happened was the dump of 100,000 on 7/7/21, but knowing it came from retail definitely makes a lot more sense.
Also interesting to note, Citigroup has been the broker who is doing the last minute tiny sells a few seconds before close that decrease in value and usually consist of around 8 individual trades.
