as August simmers here in the US and we anxiously await the IBM news, I wonder if wishful thinking for better valuation is any more delusional than the Trump loyalists believing that their leader will be reinstated? fever dreams of $1 may be best treated with three simple cold-bath insights from management. if we don't already know the answer then our salience bias is high.
1. for every 100 eligible employees within the top six largest clients - how many have registered? how many have assessed 1x? how many have assessed more than once? how many are are active in a meaningful manner after 50 days?
2. of the total 950k registered users claimed, how many are proactively on the app (not alerts or reminders) for more than 20 days? hint: suspiciously obscure recurring WAU and MAU
3. who is tracking cost of acq. rates? if we buy into "traction" then why don't we see published SaaS metrics? see - https://cloudedjudgement.su stack.com/p/what-it-takes-to-become-a-public
Bias, like beauty, is often in the eye of the beholder. facts are our firewall against bias.
