The significance of the branch out of TTI into the smart city space has gone largely unnoticed. Smart city technology, which TTI manufactures, i.e. smart traffic, street, sign, traffic controllers and software is being pinned as integral to the next industrial shift. This is a section of the infrastructure sector that will only grow and require more funding into the future. TTI having early mover advantage, with a sustainable underlying revenue base, places it in prime position to capture a significant market share. Further to this, the indication that it is working with other countries to implement smart city technology now and into the future.
Not bad for a $14 mill market cap company.
