Looks like the latter scenario took place with artificial tails for a few days to keep chart-watchers hopeful. Wrong short-term pattern judgement on my part.

The bot was basically creating an impression that it was bouncing off EMAs and channel walls, etc.. Whereas, it was only a deception to sell the next day and collect small profit from down move. As of now, it continues to do so at each EMA.

Mid-term downtrend for now, until it bounces off from somewhere for real. Where? Up to the bot, traders, and market maker really.
