No, no, fundamental analysis does drive price... in the long term. Emotions drive price in the short term.
Emotions aren't included in fundamental analysis because fundamental analysis is used to identify discounted companies.

I know that this level of charting is rubbish.
The only level of charting that is any decent is the high tech algorithms used by large hedge funds that pay tens of millions.
How can drawing a bunch of lines compete with high tech computers. It can't.
Granted, it might have worked before all these algorithms were made.

Explain to me, how a technical analyst who looks at price graphs and draws lines has the advantage over Steve Cohan who has access to the genius coders building computer programs with genius financial mathematicians.
They don't have any.

I have a passion for learning other peoples trading strategies. I love reading books about Warren Buffett, Carl Icahn, Steve Cohan, all the market wizards books, options strategies, Donald Trump, John D, Mohnish Pabrai and so on.

In my mind, I keep relating this level of technical analysis to preschool kids with rulers plotting lines on a chart thats given to them.

And if you believe all the, trend stuff, like 'oh but I'm making sick returns by just following trends', read the book called 'Fooled by Randomness'.
You might make sick returns for the time being, but some day you're going to blow up your cap base on one of these deals. (explained in the book)


But it just so happens that these charters are playing with a company with a very good product. They aren't making gains in this company from beyond this world fortune telling.
