I never really understood terms like "fake break out" (and similarly break-out gap vs not-a-break-out gap). With that logic, any short-term reversal in trend can be taken as a "fake break out".
Let's wait and see where this uptrend takes us, which is hard to predict without a crystal ball. If we manage a good close today, it can even have a try at $2.95.
