But Id assume you could create the same lack of oxygen at the coal face of the 3D printer by using a gas to displace oxygen, be it just a puff around the area being hit by the 3D, or else pump fill the working room with a gas other than oxygen that dosnt allow oxides to form during the 3D printing.

Both of these options should eliminate oxides forming at the point of printing without needing a full vacuum chamber. The 3D printing is is all automated so noone would need to be in the room filled with the different gas.

The reason this is relevant is that other 3D tech may be able to achieve the same build rates without infringing on the IP that TTT uses.

So it becomes a question , can GE commercialise first. Or Not.

You forgot one .... wire printing also screws up the microcrystalline structure ..... never mind
