reading the two announcements it seems in this case TFE put themselves into a Trading halt and stipulated a period of time. After the time was up the ASX says when are you going to start trading give us a date. Obviously with on going negotiations they can't so a suspension until an announcement is ready is the simplest way. Certainly glad my parents didn't give me a middle name, ' OF'.
