Interest rate statement, currently 7.25%.

I know analysts are predicting a 25 basis point cut.But the forecast number i will know by probably Monday.As these are good trades on forex markets and possibly a day trade for centro stock as well.

So daytraders check centro stock at around 2.30pm tues as well as the all ords index for market activity.

I trade forex on the news for gdp numbers ,trade balance, employment change,non farm employment change i.e. first friday of every month at 10.30pm melb time.

Once the economic numbers come in as this might be considered a short to medium term buy signal at 2.30pm tuesday IF the interest rates drop.

Hawkish talk by the rba will indicate a stronger aussie dollar and tighter monetary policy.Whereas dovish talk indicates a weakening aussie dollar and also an easing in monetary policy.

You will also notice spot on 2.30 pm the aussie dollar will move accordingly to the economic numbers i.e hike or cut and also movement with rba speech whether dovish or hawkish.
