Tuesday 11th December - Green on the screen

SPI Futures traded in a 69 point range last night, with a high of 5591, low of 5522 and a close this morning of 5572, up 20 points on volume of nearly 16,000 contracts. She was up 35 points but fell away at the close. The night session opening gap at 53 filled as she fell away early in the evening before take-off, leaving gaps down at 67, 60 and 32. Based on that range, my resistance lines are at 5631, 5613, 5604, 5596, 5588 and 5579, with the pivot point at 5562 and support lines at 5544, 5535, 5527, 5519, 5510 and 5493 - yep, into the 5400 zone. DOW up .14 pct, SNP up .18 pct and Canada (resource driven) down .46 pct leaving the possibility of our market being down too. VIX down 2.76 pct to 22.59. US politics (not that I care) heating up with talks of a Trump impeachment and possible jail time after office - yeah right.  Have a nice day.
