I have nothing against CFD's. If you can make money trading CFDs, good for you. Its just that brokers behind these CFDs have created their own marketplace where some practices are very questionable. There is no guarantee for you that broker of CFD is going to honour his obligation and honour the settlement (rare case but could happen). In contrast on an exchange - you have market makers/traders, clearing houses and exchange it self that gives you 3 level security that the settlement will be honoured. For this reason I mostly trade options/futures.
