Markets up the past week on hopes that science will find a way to beat this, e.g. anti-virals, etc. I'm betting against that. Maintaining my high cash weighting. I mean, it's a virus - if it were that easy to eradicate a virus, the flu wouldn't be a problem, and we'd never have let the swine flu pandemic run rampant in 2009.

The only cure for a virus is for our bodies to generate antibodies to flush them out, and the only way that happens is through a vaccine (or we get infected and develop immunity) That's ages away, and definitely not in time to prevent the coming economic and public health catastrophe.
