I spent 10days in Vancouver and the same Vancouver Island, before exploring the Rockies, Montreal and Quebec. Vancouver is a beautiful city, but it certainly has a large drug and homeless problem, far more noticeable than the other destinations. Stopped off to get a coffee on my way to Gastown and China town. The owner of the cafe asked where I was going, said safe to go to the end of the street, then turn back, go no further, not safe. I saw what he meant, Not a pretty sight. They advertise that area as a must see tourist destination. I know every city has them.

Vancouver friend staying here atm. She says the same, big drug problem there. I applaud Trump if this move does something significant to clean up the drug problem affecting all 3 countries, Canada, USA and Mexico.
