Fear and Greed are enormous factors in motivation for acting........the sharemarket allows for quick entry and exit unlike property so this won't change. I see a reduction in share price as limiting the ability of a company to go to shareholders for capital raisings if earnings cannot be retained. Of course this is one alternative option to using debt. Once the share price is down further dilution is not good for existing shareholders.
