We can differ on that one.
Seems to me that an entity put in place to provide financial stability would be better off doing things to prevent the excesses that cause the crash than just assisting to pickup the pieces after the fact.
Don't understand the doctor analogy as they don't start treatment until you get sick, so they can't stop what they haven't started.
But all ok, was just a general comment that central banks for all their aura in the media are consistently found lacking when required.
