at first I gave a tired yawn when I saw the note about another presentation announcement - driving back from the shops I wondered if it was just a gap-filler, while we all wait for the real announcements, like the big N...

but no, I was wrong.. there is some juicey new meat on this bone

Anti-Cripto-1 Mab (early development)

? Prima has raised various murine and human monoclonal
antibodies (Mabs) recognizing the EGF-CFC family member
named Cripto-1.

? Human Cripto -1 is a Mr 36,000 molecule. Cripto-1 is also an oncogenic growth factor that is involved in cancer cell proliferation and metastasis

? The Mabs inhibit tumor growth in vitro of most cancers of the breast, colon, lung, stomach and pancreas but only exhibit a weak reaction with normal tissues. The effects of the cripto-1 Mab were greater in the presence of cytotoxic drugs such as 5-fluorouracil, epirubicin, and cisplatin.

... this is compelling stuff - it is follow-on and potentially ground breaking stuff for the company to carry on with while CVac hopefully goes to market - in other parlance, it's 'value add' info that directly stokes the fires of the share price ever higher and higher... with baited breath we now watch for the next ponies to be paraded out the gates of PRR - our little army of therapies against many cancers...

... otherwise, I was confused with the Newsflow section, where they have inserted '(complete)' after the first few items - 'complete' doesn't mean completed, so I would look at the use of the word 'complete' carefully - to quote..:

as for the big N - no news - not an iota ---... but do like the Glossary however

All in all, a very good announcement with the inclusion of the Mabs information - our pot of goods just got a whole lot more interesting

hopefully this announcement was prepared with the intent to circulate it amongst US investment houses, to re-ignite interest, and to provide critical info showing PRR is not intending to be a one trick pony with CVac only - now we have the Mabs to look forward to as well - lovely stuff..
