Above is a weekly chart of Copper Futures.

Take a gander at the bottom pane - volume.

Since the beginning of 2011 it's been extending upwards exponentially.

Copper is in a speculative bubble.

Speculative bubbles can extend upwards for longer than we imagine. But, eventually, they end badly.

Given the high correlation between copper and the American market ..... ?
