I think he's a super smart guy and probably sees the bigger picture clearer than most, its just that he's not a trader and that where it becomes difficult. He picked the bull market in '80s but missed a huge move in the markets after '87 because he couldnt change his mindset fast enough, and as traders we have to know when we are wrong and flip the other way. But i havent followed him recently so cant say anything about his latest calls.
