All valid points Mongo, however, when people lose all their money it often forces them to face what is real and what is not real.

The unreal images we build up of who and what we are based on the toys and objects of security we accumulate around us do not assist us to realize who we are and in fact prevent that realisation. When all that material stuff goes, and we are still here, we realise that we were not that. That often leads to the enquiry of, "Then what am I?"

I think this is an important question that everyone should give serious consideration to during their lifetime.

I'm trying to keep my eye on what really matters, and for me, it is not money and the accumulation of wealth and material objects.

A loss is a gain when looked at from another perspective.
