The thing about black swans, extraordinary news, announcements...is that they can cause a temporary derailment of price.
Whether up, or down.
But doesn't take long for prices to settle back to normal levels.
The 1987 crash is a good example.
Today looked set for a good up move....but once again panic sellers just saw red, nuclear holocausts, a Japan littered with debris--what, it's going to stay there forever?--and out they went.
Plus XJO had a little gap to fill at 4501.8.
