Who knows, perhaps both are right, and perhaps in the reverse order. The timing is always the unknown. Just goes to show it's far better to focus on the near term and let the longer term look after itself, apart from the occasional naval gazing and academic exercise to pass the time. I agree on the twit part. I find he's been a very good contrarian indicator for several years.
