I didn't look too closely at the brokerage... the publicity is for the drop in their margin. FPM offer cfd's over futures contracts and the margin was significantly less than the futures margin at 3% but now it's getting down close to bucketshop levels!!
Fwiw FPM had 3% margin over a lot of stocks back in 2007 but soon after the start of the bear they all got kicked up to at least 5% and some went quite a lot higher than that.
