    Nothing would surprise me. If you see this as wave 1 and waiting for wave 2 correction, wave 3 will be a sharp and strong rally so I'll be cautious on the short side.

    There is plenty of optimism in the market at the moment but I'm not sure if it will stay this way for too long.

    Depends on what news we get on Sovereign Debt issues in the coming weeks/months.

    Earnings have been strong and can't be ignored even though much of it could be contributed to reduced costs from firing staff etc.

    Unemployment hasn't scared us lately either.

    Which makes you think? Where will the bad news come from (if any) and how bad will it be?

    The market has had plenty of bad news in the past couple of years and is now somewhat conditioned to it in my opinion.

    The bulls have managed to hold their ground recently. I have 1020 - 1040 as support on S&P.

    Technically, we look toppy and maybe the short trade is well.... a really short trade.
