Yes, this story is easy. But what about the comment by Michael Sainsbury in the IT section of the Australian today (10 Sept). Basically he is saying that telstra will take out 3. By this I assume he means HTA. With a majority share holder selling out to telstra off market, couldn't we end up with no appreciable change to the share price for the remainder of the company (i.e. us minority punters). Similar things have happened recently e.g. TAL.
I would be interested to hear some views on this issue.
