tui production to beginning of september

The latest update on production from TUI shows that it has achieved the first million of this finacial year's anticpated 5 million barrels.

Oil Production Performance to date for FY2010
1 July 09 - 2 September 09: Approximately 1,000,000 barrels.
NZOG's share approximately 125,000 barrels.

Tui production began on 30 July 2007. Total oil production to 2 September 2009 is approximately 24.35 million barrels. NZOG's share of total production is 3.04 million barrels.

FY2008 - Oil Production 30/7/07 to 30/6/08: 14.23 mmbbls
FY2009 - Oil Production 1/7/08 to 30/6/09: 9.12mmbbls

So a million barrels from July 1st to September 2nd (64 days ?) would give an average of about 15,625 bopd

Or you could say that the first two months have produced 1 million barrels but the rate of decline probably means that that level of production will reduce as the year goes on from the present wells.

Of course if something is found in the near Tui well drilling early next year then who knows whether things could be hooked up quickly enough to add production from another well before June 30th 2010. Probably not. But we will see.
