Using the ignore function takes away the hassle factor of ignorant and often malicious posters.

I find in most situations these will be people who are short of the stock and are deliberately argumentative - usually in the negative - and deliberately distort the facts to try and upset the flow on a positive and informative string.

It's like the casino sending someone in to spoil a good blackjack table. These people are called "coolers".

I haven't even seen the last week of the particular poster in question as I utilised the ignore function. I suggest the rest of you do the same, so that we can get on and talk about something more useful.

Look at the way Miningnut and Captain Salty post in either direction without being offensive and usually their posts spark a good debate without becoming personal. That's the way we need to keep it. And people need to stick to the facts.
