I see that Tullow are having a lot of drama finalising the takeover of the Angolan Lake Albert blocks 1 and 3 from Heritage due to the Angolan govt. wanting approx. US$400 million in taxes paid before giving the green light to the deal. Article mentions that the amount is money that Tullow can ill afford ATM.
IMO, just can't see Tullow farming in with FAR, have got a lot on their plate, particularly given that FAR require the farminee to agree to a drilling obligation ideally in 2011. Hope I am wrong as I would like to see Tullow involved as these boys have had a good success rate in W Africa and are aggressive. Anyone not familiar with the Tullow story and it's founder should have a quick read one day, a great yarn.
