Buyers may be reluctant to buy, but then sellers are showing a reluctance to sell at this SP so not much activity. The market seems to be waiting for more info. and for the consumer interface (web and app.) to come on stream - investors appear to be waiting for an indication of the market acceptance of HomeOpen before making a move.
If investors wait and HomeOpen takes off (as I believe it will) then the opportunity to buy cheaply will be gone.
Interestingly I have been watching new listings (admittedly only in several Melbourne suburbs) of houses coming on both RealEstate.com and Domain and have noticed a trend emerging of some new listings appearing on Domain and not on RealEstate.com. I can only assume that this is a small indicative trend of vendor reluctance to accept/embrace RealEstate.com. (IMO).
