It's not the sp so much as a lack of news to comment on.
All I've had to post lately is my view on the state of markets/gold.

The volatility of gold stocks on much smaller moves in gold lately is amazing.
I think investors fear of market and possibly a fear of deflation dragging gold down has them bailing out of gold stocks at every hint of trouble and whether this view is correct or not, the gold stocks are very volatile because of that perceived risk.

POG perhaps doesn’t see that volatility because of continued longer term buying (central bank) and less impact on the price by traders compared to gold stocks.

So I tend to think the POG stability is the better indicator of the gold market future direction rather than the gold stocks.
