I was just thinking how brilliant the food was over there - for those able to look beyond the jaffle.
Something about the fertile volcanic soils, the genuine freshness of the herbs, spices and veg and - for the gourmet travellers - the enormous lotus-eating expat community
…. and of course all those luxury hotels who demanded excellent chefs from all over the world (who then fell in love with the place and stayed).

Take favourite old garment, go there, choose new favourites in regards colour and pattern from a kaleidoscope of sturdy, silky cotton bolts of fabric, and a few days later a magic new skirt or shirt is yours to bring home ..
