King Island Scheelite (KIS) has had a massive run on the back of the Tasmanian government providing funds in the form of a 10 year loan. Big article in the Fin Review yesterday about measures being taken to break the worlds dependence on China for Tungsten.
Makes interesting reading. KIS gone from sub 10c to just under 30c in the space of a few days. Capped at over $80m with the prospect of opening an old mine.
BHP mined Torrington to supply Tungsten for one of the world wars.
Might have to revisit Torrington!! Certainly nothing in the market cap for it.
