Fast charging safe batteries being on the cusp of commercialisation has the potential to turn the tungsten market on its head. Over the next 2 years will we experience "Tungsten" Mania off the back of this innovation? We know there is not enough tungsten production to allow anything close to all batteries to be "next generation" so my expectation is it will be the Top end of battery use that will only be using this tech and it will demand a premium. Think 24-7 automated vehicles in transport/mining/warehouses etc that are working around the clock, think medical devices or other critical equipment, think top range phones that demand $$$.
We are in a good position. But with this battery Tech that good position could turn ballistic.
