Tungsten in nuclear fusion

Last month, in a California laboratory, scientists, after trying for many decades, finally achieved "ignition" in a nuclear reactor and in doing so, made a major breakthrough in the pursuit of producing clean and limitless energy
In laymans terms, a high powered laser shot out 2 megajoules of power into a tiny carbon crusted hollow pellet containing hydrogen - it "ignited" and produced 3 megajoules of power - the first time this has ever been done.

Tungsten had a role in this process due to its heat tolerating properties - according to the article below a separate study has concluded that tungsten is the preferred mineral to be used in the lining of the entire chamber in which the fusion reaction occurs.
The chamber itself is huge so this will ultimately translate into another big use and therefore demand for tungsten.

Those of you out there who are followers of tungsten, be you EQR, G6M or whoever, should be aware of and excited by this - another great high profile and very important use of tungsten
